Domaine de Campanes Sauvignon Blanc Cuvee le Pin is a fresh, grassy, mineral white wine from the Comté Tolosan vineyards, near Toulouse in South West France. The cool maritime climate makes this area better suited for growing Sauvignon Blanc than the Mediterranean Languedoc, so this wine is more reminiscent of the refreshing Sauvignons of the Loire Valley.

Vin de Pays de Comte Tolosan represents wines made in a large area of South West France. The region is situated in the Aquitaine Basin on plains that fall between the Pyrenees, the Massif Central the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the vineyards of Languedoc-Roussillon to the east. Much of the region is influenced by a maritime climate from the Atlantic Ocean, which delivers moderated summer and winter temperatures and high rainfall. Further inland, the climate is more Mediterranean, with warmer and drier conditions during the growing season. The vineyard sits on limestone soils.
