Featured by Terry Kirby in The Independent:

"From an ancient ‘Cru Classe’ vineyard in the heart of Provence, an utterly sublime blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah, a lovely pale pink colour that conceals knock out flavours of grapefruit, tangerine, herbs and a touch of spice. Ideal for Bouillabaisse or other tomato-based fish and vegetable dishes."

Situated in the heart of the vast garrigue plains of Provence, Château de l'Aumerade can trace its history back 400 years. In 1955, with 17 other top estates in the region, the Château was designated as a Cru Classé, or 'superior growth'.

Today, under the auspices of Henri Fabre junior, his sister Marie-Christine Fabre-Grimaldi and her husband Vincent Grimaldi, the estate continues to make some of the finest rosé wines in this their Provencal homeland.

The eponymous Cuvée Marie-Christine was named after Henri and Charlotte Fabre's first daughter. The unique bottle was designed by Charlotte Fabre, herself a talented artist. Inspired by the work of Émile Gallé, who is considered to be one of the major forces in the Art Nouveau movement, this elegant bottle has been developed to mark the 60th anniversary of the Domaine and of the Cuvée Marie-Christine. This collector's bottle pays homage to Charlotte Fabre, her taste for elegance and art-de-vivre.
