PVM15

New product

Pommard Les Vignots Rene Monnier is a deliciously robust red burgundy. Made very traditionally and aged in oak barrels, the wine shows violet, cherry and plum aromas, with grainy tannins and a great finish; a perfect match for lamb or big game dishes.

More info

Domaine Rene Monnier is a Meursault estate, that has remained in the same family for 10 generations. The vineyard area extends 16.5 hectares across the entire Côte de Beaune, and the estate only makes wine from its own grapes.

Vineyard work is very traditional, with frequent ploughing used instead of herbicide treatments. Grapes are hand-harvested and there is a strict selection of grapes on sorting tables both in the vineyard and at the winery.

Once matured, the finished wines are gently filtered, using only gravity, so that the wines are not subjected to undue stress.
