Viña Perez Cruz is a family-owned winery situated in the superior Alto-Maipo region of Chile, widely regarded as Chile's area of greatest winemaking potential. Situated in the foothills of the Andes, grapes are planted at the highest possible altitudes, with a mediterranean climate of rainy winters and warm summers. The state-of-the-art winery was designed by award-winning architect Jose Cruz Ovalle to be as eco-friendly as possible, with a wooden roof and natural light, to allow thermal isolation and free air flow clirculation.
Perez Cruz made their first wines in 2002 and have amassed an impressive array of awards and gold medals. A bronze medal winner at the Decanter Awards 2008, a silver medal at the annual Chile awards, and now a silver at the IWC 2010.
