A very elegant wine with a floral bouquet of violets and roses, leading through to velvety palate of wild strawberries combined with a hint of liquorice and spice.
|Name||Fleurie Château de Grand Pré Beaujolais|
David Williams in The Observer included the Domaine Grand Pré Fleurie 2014 in his 20 Best Wines for Summer: "Fleurie is a part of the Beaujolais region known for the floral prettiness of its gamay reds. This one is full of red berries and violets, making for a racy, silky, graceful light red for salmon, tuna or a spread of cold meats and pâtés."
Decanter Magazine awarded 91 points for the 2015: "A sophisticated style, with some ageing potential and well-judged oak - textured and glossy yet refined, with grippy tannins encircling a structured core of savoury, floral-toned fruit."
