Crimson red colour, with aromas of dark cherry, blackberries, and nutmeg. The forest fruit flavours are offset by spicy oak and a background of aromatic dried herbs.

It is the simplicity of the fruit, the sheer crunchy gluggable vivacity of the liquid, that first established Australia as everyone’s favourite vineyard. Having established his own vineyard in 1996 in South Australia’s Eden Valley, Bob Berton purchased a state-of-the-art winery in Yenda in 2007 and now sources fruit in the heart of the Riverina. Sourced from vineyards throughout the Riverina region on vines which have been spur pruned, Broken Shackle is fermented in stainless steel to retain freshness.
