Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Avegiano Bove is a soft but full-bodied Italian red. It is aged for 6 months in small Slovenian oak casks, followed by a further 4 months in bottle, prior to release, giving it spiced berry aromas, a satisfying, velvety mouth feel and a long finish.
Plentiful fresh red berries lead onto pleasing herbal flavours and subtle notes of spice from the oak. The palate is medium-bodied, with elegant, well-rounded tannins and a long, fresh finish.

Indio Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is Dario Bove's flagship wine. An intense oak-aged blend, the wine shows aromas of coffee bean, chocolate and blackberry, while on the palate it has fine-grained tannins and impressive ageing potential.
On the nose, aromas of plums, carobs, cherries and violets leap from the glass. The palate is soft and smooth with notes of rich black cherries and blackcurrant fruits combined with notes of cinnamon spice and cloves supported by lovely soft tannins.
