Castello di Pomino Benefizio, from the Marchesi di Frescobaldi, is made from 100% Chardonnay, sourced from the single vineyard of the same name, at 700 metres' altitude, and aged in barriques for 10 months. The wine shows complex aromas of mimosa blossom, white peach and ripe banana; the palate is rich, complex and exotic.
Costa di Bussia Barolo Riserva is made from 100% estate grown Nebbiolo grapes, aged for at least 3 years in oak casks, then a further 2 years in bottle before release. Domaine Joblot Givry 'En Veau' Blanc Vielles Vignes is a full-bodied white burgundy, made from 100% Chardonnay from the estate's oldest south-facing vineyards. Half was fermented in new French oak barrels and half in 1 year old barrels. The various parcels were then blended and aged for 12 months in barrique, giving an intense, creamy, buttery wine.
Chianti Classico Vigna la Prima Gran Selezione Castello Vicchiomaggio is aged in oak for up to 2 years. It is a fine, full-bodied concentrated wine, with flavours of ripe red fruits, smoke and toast, spice and herbs.

Oak ageing gives the wine delicate hints of vanilla and tobacco, with a touch of chocolate. André Brunel Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge 'Les Cailloux' is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. The Syrah component is first aged in barrique; then, after the final blending, the new wine is aged for a further 18 months in large oak casks. This is a powerful, herb and plum scented Châteauneuf, with layers of spicy flavours and a long, elegant finish.
