Verdeca 'Talo' Puglia 2017 San Marzano (used to be labelled 'Ampelo' and more recently 'Falo') is a wonderful, fresh, unoaked white from Apulia's native Verdeca grape variety. From a region best known for its red wines - particularly Primitivo di Manduria - this white shows subtle kiwi fruit and citrus aromas, with a refreshing, delicately tropical palate.
