Chevanceau Rouge 2010 is a full-bodied red French country wine from the Aude area, which surrounds the city of Carcassonne, in the Languedoc. It is an unoaked blend of Carignan, Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grapes. With spicy bramble aromas and a well-structured palate, this wine is a great partner for barbecues or roasts.

Key facts

'Indication géographique protégée' is the modern equivalent term to 'vin de pays'. Like its predecessor, which is still a legally valid term, IGP status is designed to recognise and encourage the production of wines that are distinctly superior to vin de table, but still fall outside appellation regulations.
