Viña Echeverria Sauvignon Blanc 2011 is one of the best examples of Chilean Sauvignon. Chile has long been a source of some of the world's best value Sauvignon Blanc, this example is a delicious blend of New World exotic intensity and cooler climate subtle minerality.
Vina Echeverria is a long established Chilean family owned and managed Estate, producing high quality wines. Their 75 hectares of vineyards, in one single block, and their state of the art winery are located on the outskirts of the town of Molina in the Curicó Valley, 200 km south of Santiago.
Vina Echeverria only make wine from their estate grown grapes, all of which originate from ungrafted select clones of pre-phylloxera French rootstock of Cabernet Sauvignon (48%), Sauvignon Blanc (30%), Chardonnay (20%) and Merlot (2%).
