Domaine de L'Elite Mâcon-Villages 2010 is a fresh, elegant white burgundy, made from hand-harvested Chardonnay grapes from old vineyards. It is a classic, unoaked Mâcon, which shows a complex mix of apple, peach and mineral aromas. On the palate it is ripe, with well-balanced acidity and good body.

Key facts

Domaine de L'Elite was created in 1999, when a wine estate of 5 generations, who had always sold ther grapes to the local co-operative cellar, decided to start bottling and selling their own wines.

The estate is situated in the heart of the Mâconnais, in the commune of Péronne; its vineyards are planted on gentle south and east facing slopes.
