Château de Bagnols Brouilly 2009 is a typically juicy, luscious Brouilly, bursting with cherry, raspberry and blueberry flavours. Here as in the other Beaujolais crus, 2009 has worked its wonders, giving this Brouilly wonderful ripeness and structure.
With 1300 hectares of vineyards, Brouilly is the largest cru of the Beaujolais, situated around Mont Brouilly. 6 villages produce wines under the Brouilly appellation: Cercié, Saint Lager, Charentay, Odenas, Saint Etienne La Varenne and Quincié-en-Beaujolais.
Chateau de Bagnols' Brouilly vineyards include 2 hectares of vines perched on south-east facing hillside vineyards with stony, sandy soils.
