Domaine des Grands Cedres Fleurie 2009 (6 bottle case)

The Grand Cedres estate is shared by two brothers-in-law, under the supervision of 80 year old grandfather Louis Bertand, who is present everyday in the vineyards and continues to help oversee the entire vinification process. It is situated in the heart of the Beaujolais region often referred to as the "Queen of Beaujolais". The soil is sandy over a hard granite plateau. The exposure is east/southeast at approximately 330m (1,100 feet) above sea level and the average age of the vines is 40 years. The land is worked without the use of artificial pesticides or herbicides.
