Domaine Romany Beaujolais 2009 is a ripe, juicy violet scented Beaujolais from the vintage of a lifetime! And it isn't only we who think it is one of the best Beaujolais made in that year: it won 2 stars in the Guide Hachette, 2011 and a GOLD medal at the prestigious Concours Général Agricole de PARIS 2010.
As the name suggests, the Romagny family has its origins in the Romagna province of Italy. Around 1500 the family moved to the Beaujolais region, north of Lyon. Today, Bruno Romany and his son Fabien work their 20 hectare estate in the village of Bully, in the south of Beaujolais. Since 2007, they have worked their estate according to the sustainable practices of terra vitis.
