Verdeca 'Ampelo' IGT Puglia 2010 is a wonderful, fresh, unoaked white from Apulia's native Verdeca grape variety. From a region best known for its red wines - particularly Primitivo di Manduria - this white shows subtle kiwi fruit and citrus aromas, with a refreshing, delicately tropical palate.

The Terre di Sava project was started by Mauro di Maggio and Angelo Cotugno in 2008, near Salento, in the beautiful region of Apulia on Italy's southern heel. Made from mostly native grape varieties, the wines come from some of the region's most exciting and varied vineyard sites.
