Dopff au Moulin Pinot Blanc de Riquewihr 'Sur Lies' 2009 is a delicious, ripe mineral-scented Pinot Blanc from Dopff's own vineyards in the famous village of Riquewihr. The wine is aged on its lees following fermentation to add depth and complexity.
For five centuries, the name Dopff and the majestic medieval town of Riquewihr, in Alsace's Upper Rhine, have been inextricable. Since 1574, the Dopffs have dedicated themselves to the art of producing great Alsace wines from vineyards in and around picturesque Riquewihr. The current winemakers at Dopff represent the eleventh generation of the family to cultivate the vine and make wine on their Alsace estate.
