Tierra Antica Chardonnay 2011 comes from careful selection of the best grapes from the vineyards of Chile's Curico Valley. It is unoaked, bright, and aromatic, with an impressive range of flavours, touching on melon and white peach, and revealing a graceful note of red apple on its long finish.
£6.59/bottle
Viña Edmara Carmenère is a wonderfully ripe wine; aged in both American and French oak, it shows full, spicy flavours of surprising complexity. Originally a Bordeaux grape variety (and now all but extinct in its native land) Carmenère has become Chile's signature variety.
£7.39/bottle
Vina Echeverria 'Classic Collection' Unwooded Chardonnay 2011 is a fresh, vibrant Chilean white. Unoaked to retain its purity of flavour, the wine shows aromas of peach and pineapple, combined with exquisite notes of quince and melon. The palate is both ripe and delicate, with satisfying, persistent flavours.
£7.59/bottle
Viña Echeverria Sauvignon Blanc 2011 is one of the best examples of Chilean Sauvignon. Chile has long been a source of some of the world's best value Sauvignon Blanc, this example is a delicious blend of New World exotic intensity and cooler climate subtle minerality.
Carmen Reserva Gewurztraminer 2009 - We were understandably sceptical before we tasted this wine. The Gewurztraminer grape is rarely capable of the perfumed intensity it gives the wines in its native Alsace, but this Chilean example is delicate, floral and grapey: in many ways reminiscent of a subtle dry Muscat. A great treat for the adventurous!
£8.29/bottle
Perez Cruz Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2010 is one of the finest New World takes on this Bordeaux variety. Cassis and plum aromas give onto a rich, chocolaty palate and a long, velvety finish.
£9.19/bottle
Echeverria Chardonnay Reserva 2010 is a fresh, complex oak-aged Chardonnay from Chile's Curico Valley. It shows ripe peach, pineapple and dried fruit aromas with a satisfyingly long, toasty palate.
£9.29/bottle
Ventolera Sauvignon Blanc 2009 is a worthy rival for any Sauvignon produced in New Zealand's Marlborough region. With an intense nettle, gooseberry and mineral nose, this wine has fine, serious weight on the palate and is consequently longer lived than most New World Sauvignons.
£9.49/bottle
Oveja Negra Single Vineyard Carignan 2009 is a rich, ripe red wine, from this southern French variety. The wine is aged in French oak for a year before bottling, giving deep plum, herb and chocolate flavours and loads of grip on the palate.
£10.49/bottle
Carmen Gran Reserva Carmenère 2010 is made from hand-harvested grapes from Carmen's vineyards in the hills of Apalta, in the Colchagua Valley. Cedar and tobacco on the nose hint at the wine's ageing in French oak, which creates a soft, velvety palate and a fine length.
