Saint Clair Marlborough Merlot 2010 is made by Matt Thomson, New Zealand's best winemaker. A medium bodied Merlot with flavours of ripe plums, layered with hints of spicy oak. Saint Clair Marlborough Chardonnay 2010 is one of our favourites from award-winning winemaker Matt Thomson. It shows grapefruit and almonds on the nose, with buttery stone-fruits on the palate. Fermentation in oak has given the wine a rounded, creamy mouth-feel, without over-powering its fruit flavours.
Saint Clair Estate Riesling 2010 is a steely, off-dry New Zealand white, with intense lime zest and mineral aromas and fine acidity on the palate. More Alsatian than German in style, this wine will develop characteristic 'petrol' aromas with a little time in bottle.
